Applies when you use the ShowMeBus website in a browser. Mobile application storage is described in the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and security tokens. They can be session-based and expire when the browser closes, or persistent for a defined period. First-party cookies are set for ShowMeBus; third-party cookies may be set by an external service you choose to use.
Strictly necessary cookies
These support security, CSRF protection, session continuity, authentication, language choice, booking flow, and load balancing. The service cannot work safely without them, so they are used where necessary to provide the feature you request rather than for advertising.
Preference and analytics cookies
Preference storage remembers choices such as language. As of this policy’s effective date, the public marketplace does not enable advertising or non-essential analytics cookies. If this changes, the tools, providers, purposes, and durations will be identified and, where required, remain disabled until consent is given.
Payment and external services
A payment, wallet, map, or embedded service may use its own necessary storage when you interact with it. That provider controls its own technology and notice. ShowMeBus does not permit a payment provider’s cookies to replace our server-side verification of amount, currency, and booking status.
Managing cookies
You can inspect, block, or remove cookies using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent login, checkout, or secure booking management. If optional cookies are introduced, ShowMeBus will provide the consent choice required by applicable law before activating them.
Changes and questions
Cookie names and durations may change when security or service providers change. We will update this page before using materially different non-essential categories. Contact [email protected] if you need the current technical cookie list or help with a preference.
