Who we are
ShowMeBus operates an online marketplace for bus travel and related transport services. Our business contact details appear in the Legal Notice. Unless a booking page expressly says otherwise, the selected transport operator performs the journey and is responsible for operating the vehicle, route, timetable, boarding process, luggage rules, and passenger transport.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account, making a booking, or using a protected customer feature, you agree to these Terms. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into the transaction. If you book for another passenger, you must be authorised to provide their details and must make the relevant travel terms available to them.
Accounts and security
Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security. We may restrict access to protect customers, operators, payments, or the platform from suspected misuse.
Search results, operators, and availability
Search results are based on schedules, fares, capacity, and other information supplied or approved by operators. A displayed result is not a confirmed seat until checkout and payment are successfully completed. ShowMeBus may order results using relevance, departure time, availability, price, and operational quality; we do not use personal data to set an individualised price unless this is clearly disclosed.
Booking and payment
Before payment, review the operator, stations, date, local departure time, passenger names, luggage information, fare, fees, currency, and cancellation conditions. The server-calculated total shown at checkout is the amount submitted to the selected payment provider. A booking is confirmed only when ShowMeBus records a successful payment and issues a confirmation or ticket.
Passenger responsibilities
Passengers must arrive with sufficient time, carry required identification or travel documents, follow lawful operator and station instructions, and ensure passenger details match the ticket. The operator may refuse carriage where required for safety, law, invalid documents, disruptive conduct, prohibited luggage, or failure to meet published boarding conditions.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Operator schedules and boarding points may change for operational reasons. Customer cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the fare and operator conditions presented for the booking, together with mandatory consumer rights. If an operator cancels a confirmed service, ShowMeBus will assist with the remedy applicable to that booking. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for the operational process.
Service availability and liability
We work to keep search, booking, payment, and ticket access reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to mandatory law, each party is responsible for losses it directly causes; the transport operator remains responsible for performing the transport service.
Misuse and intellectual property
You may not scrape the service at harmful scale, bypass security, test payment credentials, resell access without authorisation, upload malicious content, or interfere with other users. ShowMeBus software, branding, page design, and original content are protected; operator names and marks remain the property of their owners.
Changes, law, and contact
We may update these Terms when the service, operators, payment methods, or legal requirements change. Material changes will apply prospectively and the version accepted at account creation is recorded. These Terms are governed by Albanian law, without limiting mandatory rights available to consumers in their country.
