Applies to checkout, payment status, refunds, and payment-related support for bookings made through ShowMeBus.
Server-calculated totals
Fares, passenger quantities, fees, currency, and available capacity are recalculated on the server before a booking and payment are created. Values sent by the browser are not trusted as the final amount. A booking is confirmed only after the captured amount and currency match the server record.
Approved payment providers
Card and wallet credentials are entered into the selected provider’s protected checkout or software component. ShowMeBus receives a provider reference and payment status, not the full card number or CVV. Available providers can vary by country, currency, and operational status.
Callback and duplicate protection
Provider returns and webhooks are authenticated where the provider supports it, recorded with safe metadata, and processed idempotently so the same confirmed event does not issue duplicate tickets or ledger entries. Suspicious or inconsistent payment states are held for review rather than silently confirmed.
Account and ticket protection
Passwords are hashed, mobile tokens are hashed and revocable, sensitive legacy password data is encrypted during migration, and ticket verification includes replay controls. Use a unique password, protect email access, and contact us immediately if an account or ticket link may be compromised.
Safe support and refunds
ShowMeBus staff will not ask for your password, full card number, CVV, or one-time banking code by email or chat. Approved refunds use the recorded provider transaction. Report suspicious messages to [email protected] and include the booking reference without including payment credentials.
